Nagoya

If you're staying close to the Aichi prefecture, I recommend you check out the beautiful city called Nagoya.

When I arrived in Nagoya, it was still early (around 6 AM) and I had to wait for about 8 hours until I was able to check in at the Hotel. Most of the shops were still closed, so I checked out the cafés at Nagoya Station and ended up at the Mermaid Café. It was comfortable and the food and coffee were good. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture. This Café has a self-service, so after choosing your table, you can go to the counter to order. Don't forget to pick up your food when it's ready!

Anyway, let's dive into this beautiful city!

My hotel: nine hours Nagoya Station

The hotel I stayed at was a capsule hotel and it was only 18,00 € per night, so it was still quite cheap.

Considering this price, everything was clean and comfortable. They change the bathing towels as well as the pajamas and slippers each day. The shared bathing rooms are clean and spacious.

It is divided between floors for women and floors for men. No man can go up to the women's floors and vice versa. The lounge is on the top floor, you can see the view of Nagoya from up there.

On the ground floor, there's a luxurious café. This Hotel is close to Nagoya Station, around 7 min. by foot. Check-out is until 10 AM and Check-in from 2 PM.  I'd recommend it for solo travelers who won't stay for too long, maybe up to 5 days.

Tokugawa-en

While visiting Nagoya, I went to see the Tokugawa-en, it's a beautiful, big Japanese Garden with a big building where wedding parties can be hold. It has waterfalls, a lake with koi fish and a flower garden. Beneath you can find some photos that I took.
